The Beach Lot, A Lot, B Lot, Palm Lot, and street meters take payment via Park Mobile.

We are located on a peninsula in Newport Beach. Traffic flow on and off the peninsula can get congested during certain times of day and on weekends and holidays. Since we are a beach community summer months are also very busy and can cause delays in travel and difficulty in parking.

• Weekdays: From 7:00am – 8:15am and 2:00pm – 2:45pm congestion may occur in front of Newport Elementary for student drop off and street crossings. Otherwise, traffic is light and parking is available all day.
• Weekends: Traffic is light and parking is available all day.

• Weekdays: 7:00am – 8:15am and 2:00pm – 2:45pm congestion may occur in front of Newport Elementary for student drop off and street crossings. During spring break, we see a slight increase in traffic but parking is usually still available throughout the day.
• Weekends: Spring break may cause a slight increase in traffic but parking is usually still available throughout the day.

• Weekdays: Summer brings an increase in traffic starting around 12:00pm for inbound travel. Outbound travel starts to get busy around 6:00pm. Parking may require alternate options (see map) after 12:00pm.
• Weekends: Summer brings an increase in traffic starting around 12:00pm for inbound travel. Outbound travel starts to get busy around 8:00pm. Parking may require alternate options (see map) after 12:00pm.

From 4:00pm – 8:00pm during the five nights of the Boat Parade of Lights traffic may be congested. Parking during the evenings of the boat parade may also be limited. Parking before 4:00pm is available.
